El Pasoans showed up in mass to show their support for Chick-Fil-A. Lines went all the way to the doors of Chick-Fil-A’s Westside location. Waiting in line took about 20 minutes. After that waiting for order fulfillment was over an hour. Customer service was great even with so many people. Orders were called by name and customers helped spread the word to locate the recipient. The mood was friendly and amicable and no protesters were to be seen.
Today really showed the public’s support towards a company that gives generously and operates ethically. Freedom of speech should be protected and Christians should have the right to speak their opinions and values without fear of being blocked from operating their business.
