Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Thoughts
We can let nothing stand in the way of approaching God when we are in a time of need. He is not mostly angry with us, furrowing His brow and crossing His arms. Instead the picture of His throne of grace is one with Him leaning towards us with a smile eagerly waiting to bless and be near us. This should inspire boldness in us to approach Him. There is a real enemy fighting to make it hard for us to approach God by painting a distorted picture of what God is like. Do not believe any distortions of who God is.
