Deeper in the Word – 12/31/13

Crop Book of Isaiah 2006-06-061 Cor 1:10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

A divided church was never God’s plan, instead His plan is a church united in thought and purpose. His plan is a church that is known by it’s love for one another and for God. In the field of all our denominations and ministries it might seem impossible, but really it just starts with you. You be willing to love and care for your brothers and sisters in Christ who might not agree with every theological point that you do and that matters to God and brings real change. Be the love of God to one another, you were created to function in love.

Deeper In The Word – 12/30/13

Crop Book of Isaiah 2006-06-061 Cor 1:8-9 He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus is not in the business of giving up. He is faithful until the very end to complete what he began. Just keep saying “yes” to Him, even when it is difficult and He will bring you to the completion of the plan He has for you. You are a partner with Him in the work He is doing, and He is faithful to complete His work.

Merry Christmas!

God announced with a multitude of angels filling the sky that the Savior had come and was bringing peace between God and man, restoring us back to relationship with our Father.

Reprieve Granted For Ministries Fighting Abortion Mandate

150The Becket Fund announced that a federal judge has granted almost 200 evangelical ministries a reprieve from the Obamacare abortion mandate while their cases are proceeding through the courts. Without the reprieve the ministries would have been forced to compromise their beliefs and  provide abortion drugs to their staff or else face crippling fines from the government beginning in January 2014.
