Festival of Hope Location Moves for Saturday

Untitled-1As many have asked, the Festival for Saturday has been moved to Glory Field on the UTEP campus. It will still go on as scheduled at 6pm with doors opening at 4:30pm. Sunday’s festival will be held in the Don Haskins Center at 6pm with doors at 4:30pm.

We are very excited to be in the stands Saturday afternoon to cheer on the #UTEP Lady Miners. We hope that this will be a tremendous opportunity to reach those who will be attending the game who may not have considered coming to the Festival.

God is and will continue moving through the Greater El Paso area these next few days and weeks. Please be in prayer for our team, Franklin Graham, and every person that attends the Festival.

Deeper In The Word-04/01/14 “Trials and Testing”

Crop Book of Isaiah 2006-06-06Hebrews 2:18 Since He Himself has gone through suffering and testing, He is able to help us when we are being tested.

We do not have a God who sits afar off and is mostly angry and uninvolved in the human condition. Our God took on flesh and became a Man. Everywhere He went He did good, He preached the Kingdom, He healed the sick and oppressed. He knows what it is like to suffer and to be uncomfortable. But even in His suffering, Jesus found comfort in His Father. God is more than able to help us when we reach out to him in the midst of trials and testing. Don’t wait one moment, run to Your Father and receive His help.

Deeper in the Word-03/27/14 “Waiting on the Lord”

Crop Book of Isaiah 2006-06-062 Peter 3:9 The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

Sometimes our timing and God’s timing are entirely different from one another. When we feel like His promises should have already been fulfilled we can feel like giving up. But what seems like being slow to us is God’s wise and loving patience. God is bringing about the most good through each and every situation we face. And if we surrender to His loving kindness and let Him guide us, we will partner with Him and bring about good even in trying circumstances.
